Date Change for a Meeting to Discuss an Evansville Water Rate Increase Proposal

The meeting to discuss a water rate increase for Evansville residents is being rescheduled for August 12th on the campus of the University of Evansville.

The public meeting regarding a proposed Evansville water rate increase has been rescheduled.

Originally planned for August 4th at the University of Southern Indiana, the meeting will now be held on Thursday, August 12th on the campus of the University of Evansville campus.

Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor is continuing to invite written customer comments for the case, that will be presented at the meeting.

Members of the public can address the Regulatory Commission directly during the meeting that gets underway at 6:00 PM.

Today's high temperature of 87° was our warmest in a week and a half - we last climbed that high on the afternoon of September 18th when we tipped the scales at 88°. The remainder of the evening will remain quite mild under clear skies; expect temperatures to first fall to 83° by dinnertime before dropping to 73° by 10PM. The clear skies and weak southerly wind flow will help keep temperatures relatively stable during the overnight and predawn hours - we'll wake up to a morning low of just 62° early Wednesday morning.
