Daviess County, Kentucky, Sees 129 New Positive COVID-19 Cases

The Green River District Health Department said Tuesday that 129 more members of the Daviess County community had tested positive for COVID-19.

On Tuesday, the Green River District Health Department (GRDHD) reported 248 new positive cases of COVID-19 throughout its seven-county district, with the majority of those new positive cases being identified in Daviess County.

Here are the new positive cases reported in the GRDHD area Tuesday:

  • Daviess County: 129 new positive cases
  • Hancock County: 11 new positive cases
  • Henderson County: 46 new positive cases
  • McLean County: 12 new positive cases
  • Ohio County: 25 new positive cases
  • Union County: 9 new positive cases
  • Webster County: 16 new positive cases

With those 248 new positive cases reported throughout the district Tuesday, the total number of positive cases identified in the district to date rose to 13,419.

The state of Kentucky is currently reporting 279,143 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 2,749 statewide deaths.
