Daviess County Reports 43 New COVID-19 Cases and 1 New Death

The Green River District Health Department reported 64 new cases and 1 new death in Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, and Webster County.

The Green River District Health Department reported an additional 64 covid-19 cases on Thursday, February 11th.

43 new positive COVID-19 cases were reported in Daviess County on Thursday and 9 new positive cases were reported in Henderson County. Daviess County reported 30 fewer cases on Thursday than on Wednesday, and Henderson County reported six less than they saw on Wednesday

All other counties in the GRDHD district only saw single-digit rises. 3 in Hancock, 1 in McLean, 6 in Ohio, and 2 in Webster.

One additional COVID-19 death was also reported Thursday in Daviess County. This brings the region to 317 total covid related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

The GRHD offers free COVID-19 testing sites at all 7 county health centers. Their health center also offers free testing every Tuesday. However, due to icy conditions in the area, all GRDHD clinics and offices in the seven-county district are closed Thursday.
