Daviess and Henderson County Report 88 New Covid Cases; 2 Deaths in Ohio and Union County

The Green River Health Department reported 122 new cases and 2 new deaths in Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster County.

The Green River Health Department reported an additional 122 covid-19 cases on Wednesday, February 9th.

73 cases were reported in Daviess County and 15 reported in Henderson. Daviess County reporting 13 less cases than on Tuesday, and Henderson reporting eight less than they saw on Monday.

Ohio County was the only other Wesern Kentucky county to see double digit cases on Wednesday with 13.

All other counties in the Green River Health District only saw single digit rises. 8 in Hancock, 3 in McLean, 7 in Union, and 3 in Webster.

Today saw two additional deaths. 1 resident of Ohio County and 1 resident of Union County bringing the region to 316 total covid related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

The GRHD offers free covid-19 testing sites at all 7 county health centers. All open every Wednesday besides Ohio County. Their health center offers free testing every Tuesday.
