A Dawson Springs man was found dead in a Christian County Jail cell Thursday morning.
Christian County Jail confirmed that 32-year-old Bradley Dunning of Dawson Springs was found after allegedly hanging himself inside his cell.
Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the incident.
Dunning was in jail following charges of attempted murder of a Christian County Sheriff's Deputy on June 6th.
In a story previously reported by 44News, Sgt. Brandon Myers observed an ATV off the road near the Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville. When Sgt. Myers was checking to see if the ATV was stolen, Dunning was lying on top of it with a revolver. Dunning pointed the gun in the face of Sgt. Myers, but didn't pull the trigger.
Dunning threw down the gun when Sgt. Myers drew his and gave himself up to be arrrested.
Dunning was being held in Christian County Jail on $500,000 bond.
