Deaconess Postpones COVID-19 Survivor Reunion Due to Local Case Increase

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases and the prevalence of the Delta variant in the community, Deaconess has postponed its COVID-19 reunion event.

Officials with Deaconess said Monday that the COVID-19 reunion event planned for survivors, their loved ones, and the staff members who cared for them, had been postponed.

According to Deaconess, the event is being postponed due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the community and the rising prevalence of the Delta variant.

The reunion event had originally been planned for Sunday, July 25, but no rescheduled date has been announced at this time.

Deaconess says all staff, patients, and families who had registered for the event have been notified.

The cold front and associated low responsible for all of our rain chances both today and tonight is expected to stall stall Wednesday, prolonging our isolated rain chances tomorrow, especcially for those of us north and east of Evasnville.
