The pleasant and dry conditions aren't here just yet, but they are coming!
Tri-Staters are waking up to partly cloudy skies and muggy conditions. Temperatures remain mild, ranging from the high 60s to the low 70s. Evansville hit a low temperature of 70°, which is significantly warmer than Monday morning. While we are mostly dry across the area, rain chances will become likely this afternoon. Your overall Tuesday looks like it'll be on the cooler side - added cloud cover paired with scattered rainfall will help keep temperatures closer to the low 80s.
We are keeping an eye on a weak front to our north that is expected to bring us showers throughout the afternoon. The passing rainfall will exit shortly after dinnertime and northerly winds will take over from there. Those conditions will help filter in the cooler and comfortable temperatures, with lots of sunshine for the rest of the week.
By Wednesday morning, temperatures will have dipped back into the 50s for the first time in two weeks! That morning low of 59° combined with a pleasant northeasterly wind flow will make for nothing short of a perfect day! One can expect highs near 81° with plenty of sun and absolutely no humidity.
