Deputies Respond to Fatal Crash in Daviess County, Kentucky

Deputies with the Daviess County Sheriff's Office responded to a fatal crash early Monday morning.

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office is reporting a fatal accident that happened early on the morning of Monday, July 20.

Deputies responded to the scene of the crash on Monday around 7:00 a.m. in the 1680 block of the Wendell Ford Expressway.

According to DCSO, CPR and first aid were given to the driver.

The driver was then transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

DCSO says this was a single-vehicle crash. It's believed that a medical emergency occurred, causing the crash.

The name of the deceased hasn't been released at this time.
