Diocese of Evansville Reports 14 New Positive Cases of COVID-19

14 more individuals associated with the Diocese of Evansville Catholic Schools District have tested positive for COVID-19, the catholic education office announced Tuesday.

The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education office announced Tuesday that another 14 individuals associated with the Diocese of Evansville Catholic Schools District had tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the education office, those 14 new positive cases of COVID-19 are connected to 7 different Catholic schools within the 26-school district, involving 13 students, and one employee.

  • School 1 – Six students tested positive
  • School 2 – Two students and one employee tested positive
  • School 3 – One student tested positive
  • School 4 – One student tested positive
  • School 5 – One student tested positive
  • School 6 – One student tested positive
  • School 7 – One student tested positive

The Catholic education office says that all students and staff who tested positive are currently self-quarantining and will return to school at the appropriate time.
