The education office said that the new positive cases reported Wednesday were identified in two students from two different schools.

Wednesday's report of two new COVID-19 cases in the district comes after a week of no new positive cases being reported, with the education office's last report of positive cases on Wednesday, March 3.

It was an absolutely gorgeous afternoon throughout the Tri-State, but despite our seemingly endless supply of sunshine today, temperatures remained more than 10° cooler than the norm for this time of the year. Fortunately, today's peak temperature of 65° represents our coolest anticipated afternoon high temperature through the remainder of our extended forecast. While it is indeed encouraging that temperatures will gradually rise through the rest of the work week into the weekend ahead, we'll still have to deal with temperatures back down into the upper 30s and low 40s early Thursday morning.
