The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office said Wednesday that four new positive cases of COVID-19 had been identified within the Diocese of Evansville Catholic Schools district.
Those new positive cases of the virus were identified exclusively within students of the district, a statement from the education office explains.
According to the education office, two students who tested positive for COVID-19 belonged to the same school, and the two other students who tested positive for the virus belong to two different schools.
The students are self-quarantining and will return to school at the appropriate time, and all necessary contacts have been notified.
The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office says that due to privacy reasons, it can't reveal exactly which schools are reporting new positive cases of the virus.
