On Friday, the Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office said it had learned of five new positive cases of COVID-19 within the district.
According to the education office, the new positive cases of COVID-19 involved three employees and two students from four different diocesan Catholic schools.
- School 1: Two employees tested positive
- School 2: One employee tested positive
- School 3: One student tested positive
- School 4: One student tested positive
The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office says that all of the employees and students who tested positive are self-quaranting and will return to school at the appropriate time.
The Diocese of Evansville Catholic Education Office, which works with 26 diocesan Catholic schools across eight counties in Southwestern Indiana, says it won't release or confirm information regarding individuals or school locations for privacy reasons.
