Driver Involved in Deadly Hwy 41 Crash Booked on Reckless Homicide Charges

The driver of a pick-up truck involved in a fatal crash on Highway 41 that claimed the life of a mother and her two children was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on Wednesday on three counts of Reckless Homicide.

On Wednesday, 42-year-old Damon Ray Busby of Henderson, Kentucky, was booked into the Vanderburgh County jail on three counts of Reckless Homicide.

Busby was charged with the three counts of Reckless Homicide after a fatal crash on Highway 41 in Evansville that happened on Monday, where a mother and her two young children were killed.

Before being released into the jail, Busby was initially hospitalized for minor injuries. 

His bond was set at $10,000 cash.

Busby's next hearing is scheduled for Nov. 21 at 2:00 p.m.
