22-year-old Kalen Fuchs was arrested after a crash that ended up shutting down traffic in both directions of the Lloyd Expressway, according to police.

The Evansville Police Department says Fuchs was driving a black Chevy Silverado truck and crashed on the Lloyd around 10:30 p.m. His truck split in two, with the cab separated from the truck bed.

When police found Fuchs, they say there were beer cans near the road by his vehicle.

EPD says Fuchs told officers he had drunk a few beers before driving and was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

He was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and charged with OMVWI but has since been released on a $250 bond.

Monday morning, we will see partly sunny skies with temperatures still in the mid 20°s. By the afternoon, we will be warming up into the mid 40°s with cloud coverage increasing. This is due to a cold front expected to traverse the tri-state overnight Monday.
