Over 1,000 Dubois County Residents Have Tested Positive for COVID-19

The Dubois County Health Department said that as of Tuesday, over 1,000 of the county's residents had tested positive for COVID-19 so far.

On Tuesday, Sept. 29, the Dubois County Health Department reported 11 new positive cases of COVID-19 within the county.

According to the health department, 1,009 total Dubois County residents have now tested positive for the virus.

So far, 8,455 residents of the county have been tested for COVID-19, meaning 11.9% of county residents tested for the virus have received a positive test result.

864 of the county's residents have recovered from COVID-19 so far, while 19 total have died.

Indiana entered into Stage 5 of Governor Eric Holcomb's "Back on Track Indiana" plan on Saturday, with the Hoosier governor citing "steady health indicators," extending the state's mask mandate, and renewing the ongoing public health emergency.

Wow!!!! It's cold!!!! After a trace of snow in Evansville and some highe amounts to the south, we're waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper teens across the Tri-State. Thankfully, road crews did a fantastic job treating the roads to keep conditions from getting slick. However, the northerly winds gusting as high as 15 to 20 mph has dropped wind chill values into the single digits and even below zero in our western communities. There won't be much of an improvement in temperatures this afternoon. With the strong northerly wind flow and dry skies our highs will only reach the mid to upper 20s. Winds will stay quite breezy keeping the wind chill factor in place through the day.
