Evansville Police are investigating a homicide.
Police say they were called to a motor vehicle accident at Kentucky and Keck Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Once they arrived, police say they could tell the driver was likely dead.
Both an ambulance crew and the Evansville Fire Department attempted life saving measures with no success.
We're told the coroner determined the victim had died from a gunshot wound and not from the crash.
Police say the case is now being investigated as a homicide.
EPD says this investigation is ongoing and there aren’t many details known at this point.
