From June 7 to June 11, Easterseals Rehabilitation Center will host its annual "iCan Bike" Camp, and registrations are now open.

Each "camper" will attend 75-minute sessions each day, which can be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. or between 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Easterseals says participants receive individual assistance while progressing through a series of modified and adapted bicycles. By the end of the week, the majority of participants achieve the goal of independently riding a regular two-wheeled bike with no training wheels or adaptations.

Registration cost of $170 includes the five-day “bike camp,” a bicycle safety helmet, and an “iCan Bike” t-shirt. Financial assistance is available.

The five-day day camp is held in Evansville at the Indiana National Guard Armory.

For details or to sign up, contact Patty Balbach by phone at 812-479-1411, ext. 268 or by email at

You can also find more information on the Easterseals website, such as the registration form, which has submission details at the bottom.

The registration deadline is April 19.
