Edge Ice Center Reopens in Owensboro

Edge Ice Center in Owensboro reopened on Friday with COVID-19 safeguards in place.

On Friday, Oct. 2, the Edge Ice Center in Owensboro, Kentucky, reopened for public sessions with COVID-19 safeguards in place.

Area ice skaters can attend public sessions at the ice skating rink during the following times:

  • Every Friday and Saturday from 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., $7 per person
  • Every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. for $6 per person

Officials with Edge Ice Center say the facility will have a maximum capacity of 100 patrons in accordance with the Kentucky Health at Work Guidelines.

All admission tickets must be purchased online prior to arrival and cannot be paid for in-person. Parents and guardians who aren't skating must purchase a "non-skating guardian ticket" for $2 per person. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Masks are also required at all times while in the facility, including when on the ice.
