Authorities are investigating after a vehicle strikes an Evansville business Friday.

According to the police report, officers were called to Laundry USA in the 1400 Block of Washington Avenue for a hit and run with property damage.

The report states an employee heard a loud noise, and then people inside the business told him a car hit a sliding glass door on the south side of the business.

We're told the officers who responded saw broken glass on the door and the bottom of the door was bent.

The report says the owner of Laundry USA showed officers the camera footage of the vehicle.

We're told the vehicle was possibly early 2000's model, four door passenger car with a sunroof, and the driver appeared to be a man.

We're waking up to dry and cold conditions this Tuesday morning. As we head into the afternoon, temperatures won't rise much. Highs are only going to be in the mid to upper 30s. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries overnight. It won't be a big snow by any stretch, but you could see some flurries flying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning around the Tri-State. Don't expect more than a dusting, with greater chances falling north of I-64.
