EFD Responds To Early Morning Fire

Evansville Fire officials say they were called to a possible garage fire Saturday morning in the 3300 block of Austin Avenue.

Evansville Fire officials say they were called to a possible garage fire Saturday morning in the 3300 block of Austin Avenue.

Officials say that call came in shortly before 3:30 a.m. where flames were still visible from two sides of the detached garage.

Crews were able to put the fire out and remained on scene looking for hidden fire or hot spots.

Evansville Fire officials say the incident is still under investigation, but due to the severe damage, the cause is likely to remain undetermined.

We're told there were no injuries.
