Authorities are seeking a fourth suspect in connection to the shooting/burglary incident that took place at a home on S. Bedford Avenue on Saturday.
According to the Evansville Police Department, 21-year-old Biker Cox is wanted in connection with the burglary/shooting investigation that began at the home.
The investigation began on Saturday when someone called 911 and said they heard three shots fired at a residence on S. Bedford Avenue.
After a man was found dead inside the home on S. Bedford Avenue, EPD says the case was linked to a second 911 call that was made from a home on N. Fulton Avenue, and that the first 911 call was also made from that same location.
EPD Officers went to the home on N. Fulton Avenue and say several people were inside.
After speaking to the occupants, EPD detectives determined that the shooting victim, along with some of the occupants of the N. Fulton Avenue address, had conspired to drive to the S. Bedford Avenue home and commit a robbery.
EPD believes that the owner of the home on S. Bedford Avenue wasn't home at the time of the robbery and that one of the robbers had shot one of their own during the crime.
Three individuals were then arrested at the N. Fulton Avenue residence in connection to the case and charged with Burglary Causing Death, Obstruction of Justice, and Criminal Organization Activity.
EPD says Cox remains at large, and that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who sees Cox is asked to avoid making contact with him and call 911 immediately.
