A local Evansville restaurant will shut its doors in late November.

On Facebook, Lake's Metro Deli announced that Saturday, November 21st will be the last day open.

The restaurant said that COVID had hurt them like other local businesses.  The operators said that they decided to temporarily shut down, look to rebrand and have a new concept in the future.

The deli open in the 2100 block of North Green River Road in 2018.  They were in the same space as the former Tom + Chee restaurant.

In the post, Lake's Metro Deli thanked the customers and said that they will be open from 11AM - 6PM until the last day.
