Evansville Teen Arrested on Strangulation Charges Thanksgiving Morning

According to police Hoskinson was involved in a domestic dispute with a pregnant woman causing injuries.

19-year-old Jackson Owen Hoskinson of Evansville was arrested and booked early Thanksgiving morning.

According to police Hoskinson was involved in a domestic dispute with a pregnant woman causing injuries.

Police say the man put his hands around the neck of the victim and would not let her leave the area.

The arrest was made around 3:00 a.m. Thursday.

Hoskinson is charged with Strangulation, Criminal Confinement, and Domestic Battery to a Pregnant Family Member.

The 19-year-old is currently behind bars at the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond awaiting a court appearance.

The bitterly cold start to our Wednesday will inevitably lead to a cooler-than-average afternoon across the Tri-State. We're currently expecting an afternoon high of 26° in Evansville on Wednesday afternoon (that’s 17° below average for this time of the year).
