Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library To Offer Limited In-Person Services November 9th

All branches, excluding EVPL East, will offer limited hours for in-person services and still provide curbside services.

Evansville Vanderbugh Public Library has announced that they will offer limited in-person services at all locations, except EVPL East, starting Monday, November 9th.

EVPL East is still undergoing construction and will remain closed.

The library branches thoughout Vanderburgh County will be open to the public Monday though Friday from 2PM to 6PM and Saturday from 9AM to 1PM.

Library workers have added additional precautions to keep paterons and staff safe during these hours.  Plexiglass has been placed in high-traffic areas, including the circulation and information desks.  Computer stations hanve been shifted to ensure social distancing and will be regulary disinfected.

Along with with the in-person services, EVPL To Go, the curbside pickup, will continue at all available locations form 9am to 6pm, Monday though Saturday.

We headed out to cloudy skies and some damp conditions this morning across the Tri-State. We've been tracking scattered showers for the first part of the day. While it’s been mostly cloudy, there will be some sunshine as soon as we get the rain out of the area. Temperatures are still expected to reach unseasonably warm values this afternoon. With some sunshine and winds out of the southwest highs should have no problem reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. Clouds will clear out, but the southerly wind flow will keep overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow morning won't be all that bad considering it will be December 2nd.
