A boil advisory affecting a large portion of the First Avenue/North Park area in Evansville, Indiana, has been lifted.
Officials with Evansville Water and Sewer Utility said the advisory had been lifted as of Monday morning around 7:30 a.m.
The advisory was issued five days ago while crews with the utility worked to repair a 24-inch water line. Water was also turned off in the area temporarily.
EWSU said the advisory was lifted after samples collected from the area showed no evidence of contamination.
