An Evansville woman wanted for manslaughter is facing several drug charges after a traffic stop early Sunday morning.

Police say they noticed a car near the intersection of Old Business 41 and East Diamond Avenue merge into the left lane without signaling the lane change.

Deputies say they ran the license plate which came back with an alias name for 34-year-old Kelley Brand.

Records show Brand has an active felony warrant for manslaughter, possession of meth, cocaine, and marijuana.

We're told a traffic stop was initiated in the parking lot gas station at the intersection of Stringtown Road and East Diamond Avenue.

Police say while searching, they found a black 40 caliber inside Brand's waistband. We're told she doesn't have a carry permit.

EPD says during an inventory of the vehicle, deputies found numerous items indicating Brand was dealing illegal narcotics.

Brand was booked in the Vanderburgh County Jail.

It's a cool, but beautiful start to our Thursday! Conditions will hold together for an absolutely gorgeous afternoon. Highs will still be below normal, but we'll take some high 60s under mostly sunny skies. The 70s could make a come back as soon as tomorrow!
