Monarch Beverage Company employees in Evansville received a WARN Notice Tuesday.

In the notice sent to Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development reports the company has been sold to Reyes Holdings, L.L.C.

As part of the sale, all Monarch and EF Transit employees will be terminated from the Evansville plant on December 11th.

According to the document, that encompasses 56 jobs from sales and transportation.

According to the Monarch Beverage Company website, it was founded in 1947 and has been family owned for three generations. The company says it is the largest beer distributor in Indiana.

Our third day in a row with very mild temperatures. Highs across the Tri-State were in the low and middle 60's. A few showers at times crossed the area. A cold front will push through the Tri-State and will cause a few strong storms, that could have strong winds and even some torrential rain. Some flash flooding is a possibility. Strong winds overnight switching from the southwest to the northwest and may gust as high as 30 mph.
