We finally made it to Friday and the cooler temperatures have arrived with it!

There isn't much of a difference in our morning temperatures, but it will come later this afternoon. Most of us are walking out the door to seasonable temperatures. Evansville dipped down to a low of 57° under mostly clear skies.

We won't be going very far from there as far as today's temperatures. Right now, the anticipated high is supposed to hit 73°, which is one of the coolest days we've seen since May. If the fall-like weather isn't your friend, you may want to grab a blanket or build a fire, because things are about to get downright chilly.

After only seeing the upper 60s and low 70s on Friday afternoon, temperatures will dive into the mid 40s early Saturday and Sunday mornings! The afternoons will be quite pleasant with a high of 71° on Saturday and a pleasant 75° Sunday!

Our snowy, slick start to the day gave way to a gloomy, gray and chilly afternoon throughout the Tri-State. After only reaching temperatures in the mid 30s early in the day, we will see temperatures gradually tumble back down into the upper 20s by 10 o’clock. Despite the gradual clearing conditions overnight (which would normally lead too a much colder morning), the mercury is expected to remain relatively stable into early Tuesday morning. The return of a southerly wind flow overnight will help keep the temperatures milder as we head towards daybreak.
