"He was the most happy little boy in the world.”
Brady McGill’s uncle Blake Billman remembers him as the kind of kid who could never get tired of playing -- with a heart of gold.
But his life was cut short Friday night just before 7 -- after he was accidentally ran over by his father on East Virginia Street.
Police say Brady’s dad took him to the hospital -- where he later passed away from blunt force trauma to the head.
"That was hard to swallow -- especially when you have the trauma of losing a nephew, a son, a grandson,” Billman said. “It's disappointing the way it happened and thankfully we know Brady didn't suffer in the accident.”
Brady’s mom and grandparents were about to leave for a trip when they received a call that Brady was in an accident.
With his death at the hospital breaking their hearts.
"At this point -- everyone has a helpless feeling," Billman said. "Nobody can even wrap their head around that kind of pain."
The family -- starting a GoFundMe for Brady’s mom Brooklyn.
"It's not going to bring Brady back at all, but we're hoping it'll bring some relief in the mean time to take care of herself at this point,” Billman said. “It's going to be a new normal for all of us."

Police say this case is still under investigation and no charges have been filed against the father.
