The sports world is still getting used to playing games and practicing in the middle of a pandemic.
Here in Indiana as part of the IHSAA's return to play policy fans and players not participating in games are required to mask up.
Some of those in attendance at Saturday's Gibson Southern football game stopped to share their thoughts on masking up at games.
While it may be a different experience and will take some time getting used to wearing a face covering to a sporting even, those attending are willing to do what must be done to have a safe environment.
"It helps with the spread, it's kind of hot to wear it but I guess it's worth it to keep the football games going," said Gibson Southern Freshman Kylee Hall.
"I haven't really minded it that much it I just feel we have to be safe, we have to be courteous to other people as well as family members and so I think it's very important that everybody do that. I live over in Illinois and our little community has been experiencing a little more upturn of the virus so we just want to be safe and keep everybody else safe" said Gibson Southern Grandparent Joe Miller.
