Feed Evansville is back at Hartke Pool handing out food on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

The group is passing out pre-packaged grocery bags full of items that have been donated throughout the community over the past couple of weeks and will be doing so at Hartke Pool from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or until supplies run out.

Each car will receive a grocery bag with peanut butter, tuna, canned vegetables, fresh potatoes, cereal, bread, and milk.

The items being handed out Wednesday were collected in-part by Feed Evansville's "Shop Local, Give Local" campaign.

Several area businesses participated in the campaign by offering special deals for customers while also collecting non-perishable food items for the organization.

Hartke Pool is located at 201 N Boeke Rd in Evansville, Indiana.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another unseasonably warm day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Some areas could even see temperatures well into the 70s. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning. We won't see any rain from this front, but it will cool temperatures into the low 40s by Saturday morning.
