Fire Dept. Frees Motorist From Vehicle After Four-Car Crash in Evansville

The Evansville Fire Department on Monday responded to a four-car crash in Evansville where one person was extricated and believed to have relatively minor injuries.

The Evansville Fire Department had to extricate one motorist from a truck after a four-vehicle crash that took place on Monday.

According to EFD, the crash on Monday happened at the intersection of Riverside Dr. and Highway 41 in Evansville, Indiana.

The person who was extricated was believed to have relatively minor injuries, EFD said.

Several emergency vehicles responded to the scene of the crash to assist.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
