TODAY: After a foggy start to the morning it's shaping up to be nothing short of a gorgeous Thursday. It's looking to be a significantly warmer day with a strong southwesterly wind flow. Gusts are expected to reach 25 mph at times. Other than some breezy winds, its going to be a great day with highs in the upper 60s under mostly clear skies.

TONIGHT: As for Thursday evening, temperatures will remain fairly high. We'll be right around the mid to upper 50s during dinner time. It won't take long for values to drop overnight. Clear skies and calm winds will drop us into the low 40s.

THIS WEEKEND: Our Friday and Saturday look as though they will remain quite pleasant. After a cold front swings through today and into tonight, Friday won't be as warm as today. We'll see plenty of sunshine with highs topping out in the mid 60s. We are tracking another system that will make its way through the Tri-State Friday night into Saturday morning. While it's not expected to bring rain, there will be some lingering clouds and temperatures only reaching the upper 50s Saturday afternoon.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day across the Tri-State; temperatures climbed back into the upper 40s low 50s area-wide earlier this afternoon. Evansville‘s afternoon high temperature of 49° was our warmest in nearly a week. As for the evening ahead, temperatures will be relatively stable as a breezy southerly wind continues to bolster the mercury throughout the region; temperatures around 42° at dinner time will only fall as low as 41° by midnight. An inbound cold front moving in overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning will begin to generate chances of rainfall as early as the predawn hours on Wednesday.
