Tri-State Food Bank has put out a call for volunteers to help with an annual drive around the holiday season.

On Saturday, November 14th, Tri-State Food Bank is hosting its annual Ham & Turkey Drive.  At 6 area Schnucks locations, shoppers will be encouraged to purchase a ham, frozen turkey, or other food items to be placed in donation barrels.

The event will take place from 8AM to 6PM.  The food bank is looking for volunteers to work 3-hour shifts at the locations to secure donations.

If you are interested in volunteering, you can sign up at Tristatefoodbank.org

It's a seasonable and dry start to Friday, but the heat is going to turn up this afternoon. Partly sunny skies will stick around with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The humidity may take the way it feels up a notch. Those southerly winds will help push in that moisture making it feel more like the low 90s. An isolated shower can't be ruled out, but any rainfall won't ruin our plans.
