Evansville's 4th annual Evansville Food Truck Festival happened Sunday at Bosse Field.

There were hundreds of people who came out for the event that began at 1:00 p.m. and ended at 9:00 p.m.

The Food Truck Festival included a two-hour early entry period allowing for VIP entries from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

According to Evansville Events, more 25 food trucks were at historic Bosse Field for the event, in addition to several musical acts.

Each food vendor offered a $3 feature item as well as their full menu. The food truck that receives the most votes by the end of the event will be crowned the "People's Choice Champion."

A portion of ticket sales from the event will go directly to Cancer Pathways Midwest, formerly known as Gilda's Club of Evansville, which offers programs to individuals and families who have been impacted by cancer.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
