Two high schools in Kentucky have canceled their fall 2020 sports, including football.
The Department of Defense Education Activity provided guidelines this week that lead to Ft. Campbell High School and Ft. Knox High School that will not allow activity in "Higher Infections Risk Activities" which include football, wrestling, lacrosse, and competition cheerleading.
While Ft. Campbell remains in "Health Protection Condition Bravo", the DoDEA will not allow participation in those groups, as well as Moderate Infection Risk athletics, such as basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, gymnatics, field hockey, theater, or clubs/activities.
Fort Campbell was set in football to start the season on September 11th at Grayson County. They were scheduled to play 7 games this season, facing Caldwell County, Murray, Mayfield, and others.
