Free COVID-19 Testing Coming to Spencer County

The Indiana State Department of Health will soon be conducting free COVID-19 testing in Spencer County.

Free COVID-19 testing is being offered in Spencer County, the Spencer County Emergency Management Agency announced on Wednesday.

The testing will be conducted at the Spencer County Youth & Community Center (4-H Center) at 1101 E CR 800 N in Chrisney, Indiana, by the Indiana State Department of Health.

Testing will be offered on the following dates from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.:

  • Tuesday, July 28 - Saturday, Aug 1
  • Tuesday, Aug 4 - Saturday, Aug 8

Appointments are necessary, though those coming to get tested are required to wear a mask.

Anyone above 13-years-old can be tested, regardless of insurance status.

Those wishing to get tested do not need to be showing symptoms, though those that are showing symptoms will be asked to home-quarantine until their test result comes back.
