Free Mobile COVID-19 Testing In White and Gallatin Counties

Free mobile COVID-19 testing will soon be available in White and Gallatin Counties through the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Egyptian Health Department.

Free mobile COVID-19 testing is coming to White and Gallatin Counties in Illinois.

The testing will be available on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the following locations and times:

  • White County: 102 E Main St, Norris City, IL 62869
    • 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Gallatin County: Shawneetown Mall, Shawneetown IL
    • 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Testing is open to the public, but individuals wishing to get tested must be at least 6-months-old. Individuals with or without symptoms can be tested.

Tests will be conducted by means of nasal swab. Results may take four to seven days to receive, and a valid phone number must be provided to receive the results.

Individuals coming to get tested will also be required to wear a face mask.
