Several businesses across the Tri-State will be offering Veterans Day specials.

The Lucas Oil Center on North Green River Road will be offering free car washes to veterans and active-duty military members.

The event will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and includes a free WORKS wash valued at $18.00.

The service is in partnership with Grace For Vets, an organization that has made it their mission to offer free car washes to veterans every November.

Other chains are offering Veterans Day specials including Golden Corral which is inviting veterans to pick up a promotional card at participating locations during the month of November for a free "Thank You" meal.

All active or retired military members can get a free craft burger or flatbread at Bar Louie on November 11th.

Other places offering free meals include Bj's Restaurant & Brewhouse, Bob Evans, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Dunkin'.

You can find out if your favorite business is offering a giveaway by visiting their website.

We woke up to dry and cold conditions this Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, there won’t be any drastic changes this afternoon. Increasing cloud cover will be likely as a cold northerly flow continues ushering in chilly air. Highs won’t be going very far, we’ll likely only reach the mid to upper 30s Tri-State wide. We’re tracking a little bit of winter weather out to our north and west. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with a chance of flurries/light rain. It won't be a big snow by any stretch, but you could see some flurries flying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning around the Tri-State. Don't expect more than a dusting, with greater chances falling north of I-64.
