We woke up to temperatures in the mid to upper 20s this morning. The River City dropped to 26°, which is the coldest temperature we've seen not only this season, but in nearly eight months. There was a freeze warning in effect through 8AM this morning. But, don't let that worry you. It can only go up from here! Temperatures will be rising to more comfortable conditions this afternoon thanks to the sunshine!
Expect highs to top out in the low 50s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-10 mph, which will help usher in some warmer air. Tonight is going to be another cold one, but definitely not as bitter. Lows will dip down into the mid 30s under clear skies. Be on the lookout for possible frost early Tuesday morning.

High pressure will remain in control through much of the week. With the combination of dry and clear conditions, temperatures will be climbing. Your election day forecast consists of sunshine and temperatures right around seasonable - highs should reach 63° tomorrow afternoon. That's just the start of warming conditions. Be on the lookout for possible 70s by the weekend!
