Funeral Arrangements Set for Bosse High School Grad Killed in Weekend Shooting

The Evansville man and Bosse grad was found with a gunshot wound to the head early Saturday morning following a birthday party near Taylor Avenue.

Visitation for an Evansville man killed in a weekend shooting has been finalized.

Services will begin with visitation from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home on Washington Avenue.

Kielyn Toone's funeral will be held from 11:00 AM this Thursday, April 22 at Heritage Baptist Church at 1900 Lodge Avenue.

There will be a live stream set up for those not able to attend in person.

Toone's burial will be shortly after the service at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Toone graduated from Bosse High School in 2020, and was remembered by the school's football team, which he played on, as a "shining light on the team full of laughter, jokes, and positive vibes."

No arrests have been made in connection to Toone's death, but the Evansville Police Department is continuing to investigate.
