GRDHD: 40 New Positive COVID-19 Cases Identified in Western Kentucky Counties

The Green River District Health Department's Monday report showed 40 new positive cases of COVID-19 in its seven western Kentucky counties.

The Green River District Health Department said Monday that it had identified 40 new positive cases of COVID-19 within the department's seven-county district.

GRDHD said Monday that the new positive cases were identified in each county as follows:

  • Daviess County: 19 new positive cases
  • Henderson County: 12 new positive cases
  • Ohio County: 6 new positive cases
  • Union County: 2 new positive cases
  • Webster County: 1 new positive case

According to GRDHD, the seven-county district has now reached a collective total of 19,433 positive COVID-19 cases to date, following Monday's reported increases.

The seven-county district also has a combined total of 319 COVID-19 deaths, GRDHD said Monday.

According to GRDHD, over the last week, 5 new COVID-19 deaths and 551 new positive COVID-19 cases have been added to the seven-county district's total.

The state of Kentucky is currently reporting 388,798 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 4,282 statewide deaths.
