GRDHD Reports 399 New COVID-19 Cases Across Western Kentucky Counties

The Green River District Health Department is releasing their latest numbers Saturday. 

Health officials say there were 399 new positive COVID-19 cases reported across our Western Kentucky counties. 

GRDHD says there are 165 in Daviess County, 15 in Hancock County, 96 in Henderson County, 23 in McLean County, 64 in Ohio County, 10 in Union County, and 26 in Webster County.

Officials say this is the largest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in a single day for the seven county
region, surpassing the December 18, 2020, report of 282 new cases.

Meanwhile, on Friday Muhlenberg County reported 26 newly confirmed cases bringing their total to 2,227. 

So far the state of Kentucky has reported 296,167 positive cases of COVID-19 and 2,856 deaths. 

Here are the latest numbers across the Tri-State. 

DAVIESS: 6,507 cases; 107 deaths 

HENDERSON: 3,259 cases; 52 deaths

HANCOCK: 541 cases; 13 deaths

MCLEAN: 617 cases; 23 deaths

OHIO: 1,749 cases; 33 deaths

UNION: 980 cases; 9 deaths

WEBSTER: 861 cases; 13 deaths

HOPKINS: 3,034 cases; 109 deaths 

MUHLENBERG: 2,227 cases; 39 deaths
