Tuesday saw 31 new Covid-19 cases reported in the seven county Green River Health District.
Daviess County continues to report double digit covid cases with 18 reported on Tuesday.
The other six counties reported 13 cases total. 0 in Hancock, 7 in Henderson, 0 in McLean, 5 in Ohio, 0 in Union, and ` in Webster County.
Tuesday saw one additional Covid related death in the seven county region. The death was a resdient in Ohio County. There have now been 326 Covid related deaths in the district.
The Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Union, and Webster Health Centers all off free Covid testing on every Wednesday of the month, and the Ohio County Health Center offers free testing every Tuesday of the month.
The GRHD continues to vaccinate those in tiers 1A and 1B, which includes health care workers, first responders, daycare workers, and those 70 years of age or older.
The GRHD reports as vaccine quantities and available appointment times allow, people in phase 1C, with an emphasis on those aged 60 and older may also schedule an appointment.
