Thursday saw a day of less than 50 cases reported in the Green River District for the first time in a long time.
Daviess County was the only county to see a double-digit increase in cases on Tuesday with 18 new positive cases reported.
The other five counties reported 19 cases total. 1 in Hancock, 5 in Henderson, 8 in Ohio, 1 in Union, and 4 in Webster County.
No new Covid related deaths were reported on Thursday. There have been 324 Covid related deaths in the district.
The Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Union, and Webster Health Centers all off free Covid testing on every Wednesday of the month, and the Ohio County Health Center offers free testing every Tuesday of the month.
The GRHD continues to vaccinate those in tiers 1A and 1B, which includes health care workers, first responders, daycare workers, and those 70 years of age or older.
The GRHD reports as vaccine quantities and available appointment times allow, people in phase 1C, with an emphasis on those aged 60 and older may also schedule an appointment.
