The Green River Health Department reported an additional 82 covid-19 cases on Monday, February 8th.
Eighteen cases reported in Daviess County and 29 reported in Henderson. Daviess County reporting 16 less cases than last Monday, and Henderson reporting 10 less cases than they saw last Monday.
The only other county in the area to report double digit cases on Monday was Ohio County who reported 25 new covid cases.
The other four counties reported single digit gains. 1 in Hancock, 3 in McLean, 1 in Union, and 5 in Webster County.
The past week also saw 7 covid-19 related deaths in the seven county region. Bringing the region up to 314 total covid related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
The GRHD offers free covid-19 testing sites at all 7 county health centers. All open every Wednesday besides Ohio County. Their health center offers free testing every Tuesday.
