The Indiana State Police says 42-year-old Phillip Brundage of Haubstadt, Indiana, was arrested on Monday morning after an investigation into accusations that he had inappropriately touched an underage boy.
ISP says a criminal investigation was opened after someone accused Brundage of fondling a boy under the age of 14.
During the investigation, an ISP Detective discovered that the alleged crime had happened back in the summer of 2018.
After reviewing the investigation, ISP says the Gibson County Prosecutors Office issued an arrest warrant for Brundage for Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Level 5 Felony.
On Monday morning, Brundage was arrested after he turned himself in at the Gibson County Jail. He was later released after posting bond.
Brundage was previously arrested in November of 2020 on charges of possession of child pornography, but ISP didn't indicate any connection between Monday morning's arrest and that case.
