38-year-old Jacob Wilson was sentenced to 80 years behind bars on Tuesday in connection to the 2018 murder of Samuel Bethe of Buckskin, Indiana.

Wilson was sentenced to 65 years behind bars in court on Tuesday for Murder.

Court documents show Wilson also received an additional 15-year sentencing for a habitual offender enhancement.

Wilson was found guilty of Murder in May of 2021.

Police say he and his co-defendant, Ashley Robling, fled to Illinois after Bethe was found shot in the head inside his burning home in 2018.

In 2019, Robling entered into a plea agreement and was sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Robling's mother spoke to 44News when Wilson was found guilty of Murder. She's hopeful the courts will revisit her daughter's sentencing.
