With numerous sporting events and fundraisers being canceled or postponed in the area, one is moving forward in hopes of granting wishes for local kids.
Southern Indiana Events plans to host their 11th Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser again this year, Aug 17.
The outing, which takes place at Oak Meadow Country Club is presented by Evansville Surgical Associates and aims to grant wishes for local kids battling life-threatening illnesses.
According to Make-A-Wish, 25 local kids are waiting for wishes to be granted.
Make-A-Wish is a local council representing chapters in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
A golf foursome donation is $500.
When: Monday, August 17 at 10:30 AM - 6 PM
Where: Oak Meadow Country Club on Browning Road in Evansville
Time: - 10:30 a.m. - Registration/Putting Green/Driving Range Open
