Gov. Beshear Reports Record Daily High 5,742 New COVID-19 Cases

On Wednesday, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced the highest-daily report of COVID-19 cases in the commonwealth and the highest positivity rate since May 5th of 2020.

The new cases reported today is 5,3742 including 34 deaths. The positivity rate in the commonwealth is now 11.7%.

“Today’s numbers show how critically important a centralized effort and response is to defeating this virus,” said Governor Beshear.

Tomorrow Governor Beshear will host the State of the Commonwealth and budget address at 6 p.m. CST. via his Facebook page, YouTube channels, and Kentuckians can tune to Kentucky Educational Television.
